Deciduous trees are trees that lose their leaves every year. What's it called when they stay green all year round? Like pine trees. I want a word other than evergreen, please.

Sorry, but evergreen is pretty much what you are stuck with!

By the way, MOST (but not all) conifers are evergreens, but NOT ALL evergreens are conifers (many tropical plants are, as well as things like rhododendron, azalea, etc.)

Well, they tend to be conifers, especially those that form the tundra forests of the north. However, not all evergreens are conifers.

Evergreen is actualy the antonym of deciduous.
