I believe what Winky has already done that he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, but if that is not enough then I say that if he beats ODLH or even move up in weight and defeat the undefeated supermiddleweight champ Joe Calazghe then he will go into the Hall of Fame for what he has accomplished, just my opinion but if you want me to throw some random names out well then he should get Jermain Taylors *** beat him, beat a few other top ranked middleweights, move up to supermiddleweight beat Jeff Lacy LOL! that would be funny.. well ya those last comments were jokes..

probably oscar de la hoya which is a fight he wants. If the Golden boy can beat PBF and Winky fights him next, it really could put him into the boxing hall of fame if he were to win. However, i agree that Winky is a great fighter but has been ducked by some big names that have probably prevented him from getting all the acclaim he deserves.

I agree with the person that said he would qualify right now, he has victories over 2 Hall of Fame Fighters in Mosley (twice) and Trinidad, and was robbed against a cheater that took steriods, Vargas, he was never given chances, and i think what will put him in the hall of fame, is jermain taylor, i think he will retire undefeated with that 1 tie to winky, and people will realize how great winky had to be to tie and young jermain taylor

James - If you take a look at some of the fighters in hall of fame currently, in my opinion he would qualify right now. I'm not knocking the guys in there but consider that Wright has been ducked by many fighters because he's damn good and his style makes fighters look bad.
I'm a fan of his too James. From a hardcore fight fan who was born and raised and lives In Tampa. He's my hometown fighter.

I would say Oscar that would add to the big wins over Sugar Shane twice,Felix Trinidad,Ike Quartey. Winky did not start getting any attention until late in his career after returning to the Usa after fighting overseas when he could not get good fights here in the Usa.
