How do you delete to many fonts?

I have to many fonts, how do I delete them, I have been to add & remove and tryed, I ilighted the page click on the delete then a box came up & said that I can't. Thanks to the four who answed my last similar question.

Just go to Control Panel, then Fonts. Right click & delete each one, or click on one, hold down Ctrl and click the others you're sure you won't need. Then right click one of 'em and select delete

First back them up.
Then go through Control Panel > Fonts and you can delete the ones you don't want.
