Knowledge is power, and power is knowledge. It's a pity that as a democracy our public school system does not promote or enhance any cultural learnings. I believe high schools and colleges should offer comparative religion courses without any bias whatsoever as a graduation requirement. Perhaps if we learn respect towards each other faith then the world would see less conflict. It is ashame that in the United States some Americans cannot decipher between a Sikh or a Muslim, a Jain or a Hindu. Education will empower the masses, and teach us about the world that will relieve the cultural shock that most experience.

Being a catholic I don"t need to explore other religions, simply because I know what the truth is and all I"m gonna find in other religions or creeds is a false concept of the one and true God

i became a Christian, regardless of the indisputable fact that the more desirable I realized about that faith, the more desirable it contradicted itself. i tried to break it all the way down to that's roots, at the same time as nonetheless preserving onto Jesus being Messiah. at the same time as i began searching into so-referred to as Messianic prophecy I saved searching issues that folk declare are messianic, yet the position there's no indication interior the textual content that it really is prophetic in any respect, or that it applies to at least one particular man or woman. i assumed that easily there should be prophecies that he fulfilled, yet as I had study the bible in a really disciplined way, I knew of prophecies that were blatantly Messianic, yet have not been fulfilled. That became the perfect straw; there have been one of those vast quantity of issues that were basically untenable. the theory of infinite torment, operating example; and the perception of a guy being God. I study and compared 3 translations of the Tao Te Ching, and it has represents religious truth; and particular aspects of the very nature of God a procedures more desirable than something i'd ever heard in church. i got here upon my thanks to Rabbinical teachings, about monotheism, and the three covenants, which became very exciting to me. I had already enable bypass of Christianity through then, yet, it would were the perfect nail interior the coffin. Judaism were so badly misrepresented to me (it really is critical to misrepresent Judaism to help Christian theology, you spot.) i became surprised to locate the vastness of religious truth and divine connection that exists outdoors of Christianity. i hit upon that Rabbinical monotheism makes a procedures more desirable experience than something I ever heard in Christianity. i do not imagine that any particular faith has all and ideal truth; yet from my explorations, very almost each and every faith has more desirable religious intensity and truth than Christianity does.

I was a Christian for 10 years. I left and dabbled with magic for a year, and I knew I was wrong so I turned back to the Truth and resurrendered myself to my Lord and Savior

i believe all religions teach the same thing in different ways. a few different 'rules' along the way, but all set to put us in our own 'right path'.
it doesn't really matter to me which highway you take to get to where you are going as long as you enjoy the ride and get there safely.
