A few years ago my family and I went to Montreal for vacation. While we were up there, we went to this bakery place and they had chocolatines (I think that's how you spell it). They were little pastry bread things with chocolate on the inside and they were really really good. Unfortunately we're too poor right now to go on vacation to Montreal again. So I've been looking for recipes, but I can't find any. Does anyone know any good recipes for this?

What about making some crescent rolls and putting some chocolate in the middle before you bake?

Brush some egg wash on the top and add a bit of sugar.

Or also croissants with chocolate in the middle might be a substitute for your craving. I like the ones from panera bread.

I googled chocolatines and what I suggested doesn't sound like that at all. Here is a recipe. Chocolate rum cookies?
