Ohhh those would be the delicious crab rangoon! I make them for holidays, they are a HUGE hit!
Crispy Crab Rangoon
(3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 green onions, finely chopped
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp. sugar
1/4 cup finely chopped imitation crabmeat
1 teaspoon minced garlic
16 wonton wrappers
oil (for frying)
sweet and sour sauce
1. In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add the sugar, Worcestershire sauce, onions, crab and garlic; mix well. Place about 1-1/2 teaspoons in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten edges with water; fold opposite corners over filling and press to seal.
2. In an electric skillet, heat 1 inches of oil to 375°. Fry wontons for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown, turning once. Drain on paper towels. Serve with sweet-and-sour sauce.
3. NOTE: Fill wonton wrappers a few at a time, keeping the others covered with a damp paper towel until ready to use.
*You can also bake them in the oven at 350 for about 5minutes for a healthier, less greasy version. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray, then spray the rangoons with a bit of the spray for a little crispiness. I think they actually taste better baked, but it's all a matter of personal preference =)

To make the dumplingwith the cheese inside is very simple. First take whatever kind of cheese you wish to use most use cream cheese. Next go to your grocery store and look for wonton skins . Take your wonton skins and lay flat on your cutting board. Take your cheese and cut a piece about the size of a teaspoon. Next either use water or eggwhite toseal the edges of the wonton skin around the cheese. press together well. Heat your deepfryer to 350-375 degrees. These will cook fast. In perhaps 30 seconds to 1 minute. Enjoy.

They're called Crab Rangoon's
Ingredients:
1 package Wonton Wrappers
1 Egg (Beaten)
1 package Cream Cheese, room Temperature softened
1 can Lump Crab Meat, Drained
2 tablespoons Flour
Oil for Frying
Sweet & Sour Sauce for Dipping
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, flour and crab meat until well blended. Place one tablespoon of the crab and the cream cheese mixture in the middle of the wonton wrapper. Brush the egg around the edges of the wonton. Bring top corner over and press down the edges to seal. This will make a triangle shape.
Bring both corners of the wonton to the top and pinch together to make final seal.
Heat oil in deep frying pan. Oil is ready for frying when you place a wonton in it, and the outside wrapper starts to bubble. Fry wontons until golden brown, approximately 2 1/2 minutes.
This recipe for Crab & Cream Cheese Wontons serves/makes 20 pcs

autumnshadz, Tiffany, and others are correct, and providing good recipes as well! If you're trying to find the wonton skins, look in the refridgerated section of the produce area of your grocery store. They're usually near the pre-bagged salad mixes, sprouts and such.
Wonton wrappers are pretty affordable and can be filled with just about anything and then steamed, baked, or fried. You can be very, very creative with these and people will love them.
If you're going to use cream cheese only (w/o crab) I recommend adding a tbsp or two of rice vinegar, a tsp. or so of grated fresh ginger, and a little sugar (dissolved in the vinegar) to the cheese before wrapping it in the wontons. Sliced scallions and a little minced, fresh cilantro are a good addition too.

You put about 1 teaspoon of cream cheese inside a small square wonton wrapper, moisten edges with water, fold into whatever shape you want, deep fry in oil at approx 350 degrees until light golden brown and crispy.
