This guy shot to police officers during a traffic stop. Oh yeah, he was departed three times and has a long rap sheet to include drug offenses and assualt with a deadly weapon.
When is the left going to wake up and realize that alot of bad people are coming across our boarder not to mention MS-13 and other violent gangs? We need to secure our country or will lose it.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio could use Arizona's new anti-smuggling law to arrest illegal aliens, saying while it was intended to target drug smugglers, it also applies to alien smugglers and their customers.
"I believe the law is clear," Mr. Thomas said. "We have a new coyote statute that makes human smuggling a crime, and the state conspiracy statute clearly applies to that."
Sheriff Arpaio said he intends to continue to use the new law to lock up illegals flooding into his county and send a message to those in Mexico and elsewhere seeking to enter the United States.
"My message is clear: If you come here and I catch you, you're going straight to jail," he said. "We're going to arrest any illegal who violates this new law, and I'm not going to turn these people over to federal authorities so they can have a free ride back to Mexico. I'll give them a free ride to my jail."

The subject of your question was an illegal alien (not an illegal immigrant – there’s no such thing.) I say, “was” because he lost the shootout with police.
He had been deported several times and did have an extensive criminal history. What you don’t know is:
1.Illegal entry is not just an administrative law violation. It is also cognizable under criminal law (8 USC 1325). The first offense is a misdemeanor and subsequent offenses are felonies.
2.Reentry after deportation or removal is not just an administrative law violation, it is also cognizable under criminal law (8 USC 1326) and is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
3.The fact that these are criminal statues as well as administrative laws is irrelevant. USBP, ICE and CBP officers can arrest these people until the cows come home and if the local U.S. Attorney’s office won’t accept the case for prosecution then it’s not going to get prosecuted and the person merely released back to their native country.
So, ALL illegal aliens are guilty of criminal offenses; just not all have been prosecuted. However, immigration laws not withstanding, here are a few other violations you might not know about.
Drunk driving is very common in the illegal alien community. Do a Google News search and see how often articles will hit on illegal aliens, “illegal immigrants” and “undocumented aliens or immigrants” are involved in drunk driving deaths. Hit and run is another favorite.
They bring various diseases into the country that we do not inoculate for and are known to have infected people here with a drug resistant strain of tuberculosis.
In Boulder, CO 8 illegal aliens raped 8 women. Seven of these suspects escaped back to Mexico.
According to Rep. King of Iowa about 12 people are murdered each day by illegal aliens (4,380 for the year) and 13 killed each day by illegal alien drunk drivers.
They use the hospital emergency rooms as their primary care physician resulting in millions of dollars of tax revenue being redirected from the care of citizens to pay for these visits.
They are known to quickly get onto welfare since their income is not reported. This constitutes fraud by willful misrepresentation.
There are an unbelievable number of child molestation complaints against illegal aliens. Additionally there are tons of narcotics manufacturing and distribution charges as well.
The list could continue on and on. The bottom line is that anyone that tells you that illegal alien criminals are rare is indeed blind to the facts. The honest illegal alien who only violated immigration laws is a rarity.

It is true that Americans commit crimes. I don't think anyone is saying the illegals have a lock on criminal behavior. This is my beef though, that those crimes should not have been commited in the USA in the first place.
1,400 people are murdered each year in the US by illegals (and a good deal of the victims are illegal). In 2003, the Justice Dept reported 16,503 homicides in the US. Pretty gruesome number. But 1,400 people of the sixteen should not have died, if our laws were enforced. The illegals should not have been here to commit those murders. These murders should not have happened. These two officers would not have been shot, because the perpatrators would not have been here. 1,400 people would still be alive.
US corporations want cheap labor, and the government does nothing about this problem for fear of racism charges. Nothing is also done about the huge corruption and drug cartel problems the Mexican government has. Makes our scandals look like the Leave it to Beaver.
Enforce our laws, pay the people doing these crap jobs normal wages, and fix Mexico's system and economy!

I agree with you. However, I would bet that the majority of illegal immigrants just cringe when one of these outlaw illegals does something like this. Here they are, trying to lay low and just work and make some money, and the renegade illegals are stirring up all of this publicity.
But I do feel we need to reinforce the border.

Lets round up all illegal aliens and send them back where they came from, secure our borders and shoot anyone who tries to cross illegally. There is a legal way to enter this country and it's about time people realize this and quit trying to turn the US into a Mexican state.
