She could be depressed or have anorexia. Tell her mother you are concerned and why.

Wearing baggy clothes and not brushing her hair? I don't think she's trying that hard. Some girls just act like that to get attention. Being pretty is not what she's concerned about, because she would be acting different. There's something else there. Look into it a little further.

She is just going through the same thing all of us do eventually. I have the same problem your friend does. Everyone says im pretty and skinny and i dont think so at ALL. All I can say is that you shouldnt bother her about this. Just tell her that you know something is going on and that if she needs to talk about anything that you are there for her and leave it at that. She will kno ur a tru friend and ur not guna call rehab on her. Shell ask for more help if she needs it. just be a friend. good luck!

It could be Body Dysmorphic Disorder, or Anorexia in the beginning stages. Either way talk to people that may be able to help, and discuss your concerns (your parents, a teacher, her parents). If she is getting skinnier and she is already thin, this could be a serious problem.

It's called body dysmorphic disorder (BDD). A nasty little liar who takes the joy out of life and tells people they look horrible.
That's what your friend has and unless she gets treatment or on an antidepressant she will never like herself, no matter how she looks or what clothes she wears. It could eventually destroy her. Check out the link to learn more.

Please learn to spell. It's PRETTY, not preaty.
She does sound sick. Either anorexia or bulimia and she sounds very depressed. When you are very depressed you stop caring about yourself and what you look like.
