Sweet-n-Low -has been around a very long time.
Equal -around a long time also, however, not as long as the above.

I used to manage our small coffee club in an office.
I would always get a request for Sweet-n-Low, so I kept that available. I would get the occasional request for equal.
However, regular sugar moved very fast.

I drink my coffee, with sugar on the side (donut, pastry).
Love it this way.

Sweet & Low or Equal are fake, leave an after taste & are full of chemicals. Use Splenda for Baking. It is made from sugar & it looks like sugar & you only need to use half the amount.

There are lots of artificial sweetners to put in your coffee but they all raise your dependence on sweetness since they're often more intense than sugar. The only natural sweetner is called Stevia which is an extract from a plant called Stevia Rebaudiana. Or you could just try your coffee with no sweetner at all...you might even like it!

I can't stand the taste or Nutrasweet (aspartame) or Sweet n Low (saccharin), but I really like Splenda. It does have its own taste, but I don't find it to be bitter or as strong as the others. Plus it has a better safety profile as far as health effects are concerned.

Sweet-n-low or Equal are standards, as well as Splenda.

Nothing wrong with a little Baileys or cask & cream. Though, this isn't the best in morning before work choice :)
