im sprinting slower than i used to, i run the same amount, i havent gained any weight, but ive been working out my legs, how do i get my sprinting speed back

Just keep sprinting everyday,you'll get faster eventually.
I was the fastest sprinter in my grade years ago,then i got lazy and slow,now i done that and im pretty fast again.

They are liars whoever you heard if from. My sister had a knee surgery for a tumor in May. To heal from surgery she had to do alot of exersices with her legs. She is the best sprinter and long jumper in our track team now.

we slow down with age, maybe you could try doing speed workouts. www.runnersworld.com is a great site for runners. like everything the older we get the metabolism and athletic ability slows down, we just have to work harder at getting it back, but it is doable

dont forget to rest. maybe your legs are fatigued and need to recover from all the running your doing.

perhaps you are overtraining. give yourself a few days rest and then go back on the track and see what your times are.
