I already have a car.Its old.
But i work,because its close to school
And have thousand and three hundred in the bank.

Maybe it's because he would have to get insurance for you, assuming you can't afford car insurance yourself.

Insurance for girls your age isn't cheap. That's all I can think of, honestly.........

May seem unfair, but you are still a minor. Legally, he can tell you what to do. I would advise your dad to let you drive now, with supervision, to make sure you're ready to drive solo in May. Hang tight for a few months...it's not worth the hassle.

You're dad is just worried about you. As a parent myself, it is very hard to let our children go in a ten ton weapon. You'll understand someday in about 20 years or so. Hang in there; August is just around the corner. ;)
