u are reminding me of a same picture of my own six months ago. only it was the day before the party.put lots of ice cubes for hours until the redness reduces. For the next one or two week u ve to apply lots of oily moisturizers(I used Nivea body lotion for dry skin with real aloe vera gel which I brought with me from India)whatever your skin type is.After15 to 20 days the skin of your face will automatically change into its original condition.but for now there is no option. I attended the party with several scars and wounds in my face.
Never do skin removals on the very day or the day before. For tonight keep lots of confidence on your other physical features which are your plus points and face friends boldly.mishaps like this are natural and occurs to everybody on anyday

I don't like it for the legs. It dries out your skin and it can burn and make your skin sensitive. If you're going to use it, don't use it once and shave.. use one method of hair removal otherwise you'll irritate your skin. Nair is a delapatory so the chemicals in it burn the hair off. It doesn't destroy the root of the hair, so the hair growth would be just as often as it would be if you were to shave. It leaves your skin smooth as a plus, but it also smells bad. Depending on how you apply it, it also may not remove all the hair and instead it will still look like stubble. Definitely try a patch of it first to see if you'll like it. Regardless of the side effects I still use it because laser hair removal and electrolysis are expensive treatments. Delapatories and shaving are quick and inexpensive fixes until you can afford treatments, if you end up deciding to go that route. --If you do decide to use Nair on your face, make sure you use the one that's made for facial hair; not the one for your legs--

Just tell your date that you're embarased (red faced) because he's soooo cute.
There is nothing that will take the redness away besides time, about 24 hrs. Just do not use Nair on your face again. There are hair removers for the face, just look in the ethnic section of the beaty care isle.
Good luck!

Same thing happened to me luckily we have a plant called "Savila" in Spanish which is aloe in English. Opened up the plant and places the goo side on my face until the plants goo dried out (an hour or so) then put on "Vitacilina" which you can find at a pharmacy. Had it on all day as soon as it would come off I'd place more. The next day when I woke up my face looks so much better. All I have now is the part it peeled off but it's not really red or swallen. This worked best for me so hopefully it helps(:

call the doctor (nothing serious but just ASK for his/her help or advice)
wash your face with gentle soap to get any excess nair off your face that MAY still be there.
after doing this, get some ice and slowly rub it on the red and burning areas. once you're done with that take a washcloth and put it on your face for a few minutes. then put some kind of normal moisturizing lotion (not any fancy scented girly kind) on the spots and just wait for a little while. i hope that helped!

If you used Nair for Face and followed the directions, and it sounds like you did, and your symptoms are as severe as you are describing, it is highly likely you are allergic to the product. Unfortunately it could become worse. The chemicals in depilatories are very harsh (they dissolve hair!). DO NOT use soap, lotions, etc., or rub/scratch your face. (The only medicine I would consider using for symptoms is 1% hydrocortisone cream) DO use clean, cold washcloths and/or ice packs to ease redness and pain. If symptoms persist or worsen, see if your general practitioner will fit you in today (you may want to call now) for an emergency visit, or consider going to the ER, even though I know your plans are important to you. Do not apply cosmetics. I hope you feel better.

Nair is supposed to be used on your legs and under arms only! It is suppose to be for places where hair grows pretty thick. It causes severe burning or rashing if used on ur face. My sister use nair! You are experiencing chemical burns. It's kind of like when you leave perm in your hair for too long.If the burning does not stop, you may have to go somewhere to gewt medical attention. If it subsides, you can use something like lubriderm or skin ointment for the burns! You can put lubriderm skin care on your face. My son had severe burns on his skin and they used this in the hospital. You have chemical burns! There probably will be redness for a few days and peeling when the redness go away!
