i think he would still say the same thing!
not paying taxes would be a crime against the state and people who do not do it would do it would be imprisoned, that would kinda of interfere with his ministry back then and Now if he were alive now, he would still have a ministry.
the same applies to people today. I wish i could pay my back taxes, but I am almost completely unable to get enough money just to make it through the month.
but there are people who try, and it is their choice, to fight against unrighteous taxation and political oppression and bondage.

Yes. Jesus would say the same thing today. Why? One of his apostles later wrote in Romans 13:1 - "Let every soul be in subjection to the superior authority"

The context was different back then because many Jews resented paying taxes to Rome - because it was a foreign-occupier. Not the same as paying taxes to a govt of your own nationality.

You just answered your own question. Do you know what occupation Daniel held in Babylon? He was the chief tax collector. Don't look for an excuse to not pay your taxes; taxes pay for a whole lot of things in this Country, and everyone should pay their part. So pay your darn taxes!! Yeah, I know, I hate to pay them, too. Oh well...gotta do what cha gotta do.....

He'd be fine with taxes in America since the money says "In God We Trust."

Probably the same thing as Jesus wasn't anti society and realizes that at least nowadays taxes are used for the common good of society.

Malachi 3:6 says. For I am Jehovah; I have not changed. God hasn't changed, so why would it be any different now from then?

Obey God rather than man. If taxes are constitutional and paying them does not hurt Gods law, and if they are legal then I think he would say to pay them.
