Zennox cam corder came with USB cable for downloading images and charging battery, Is there such a thing as an adapter from Usb to ac/dc as I don't fancy looking or paying for computer time when I'm on holiday abroad next year!

I'm not sure what you would be trying to achieve with this adapter - where would you be proposing to download the video to? Or is it that you want an alternative method of charging the battery? Is there a mains female socket on you camcorder? If so I'd look around for a universal charger. Like the previous answer, I've never heard of an adapter from USB to ac/dc but certainly wouldn't want to try making one as he suggests. You might be better off getting some spare batteries and making sure they are fully charged before you leave home. Less likliehood of messing up your camcorder that way.

you may't try this. do not attempt or you threat destroying the instruments. I advise which you get a application product noted as "information Pilot". this would be a product created to interface somewhat some telephone manufacturers and computers. It comes with the appliance kit and an selection of "telephone-to-USB" connecting cables. this is not unfastened, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that this is greater fee-effective than screwing up your instruments.

I've never seen one, but they probably exist. To make your own you need a 5 volt adaptor and a USB plug. Connect +5v to pin 1 and ground to pin 4.
