Hi there;

Sometimes food particles can become trapped beneath the gum line (brush after every meal). The result can be an irritation or infection. Without having a dentist look at the "lump" I would say brush and floss gently. If you experience pain, redness, or it increases in size you NEED to see your dentist right away. You have developed an abscess and that is never good.
Rinse and gargle with salt water (one half teaspoon to 8 oz of water). Also, if you notice a distinct white or cream colored area anywhere on your gum where the lump is, again HEAD immediately to your dentist or to your doctor.
Good luck friend.

i'm uncertain the place on your gums you're speaking approximately yet while it truly is interior the lower back it may desire to be know-how tooth coming in, if it truly is not a tooth or in that section you've scratched your gums. that could desire to reason that section to be comfortable and could turn it white. provide it a pair of week and if it nevertheless hurts and is white i might examine with my dentist. it may desire to be an infection.
