My advise would be to tell him how you feel, communication is essential in a relationship, go with your gut instinct mine has never steered me wrong and a woman's intuition is usually right.

Most relationships are based on frienship and even though you have history together you've still got the foundations for a really good and solid relationship.

Good look. x

I think you need to have a serious conversation with this guy before you take things further to establish that you both want the same things from your relationship. The problem with friendships that turn into relationships, is that when things do potentially go wrong, you lose a good friend into the bargain. Try to put any feelings of lust and sexual attraction to the back of your mind as its all to easy to rush into things and then regret something that can't be taken back and that will change everything. Make sure you are realistic about what this man has to offer you both now and in the future and think about whether he is really over his ex enough to venture into a new relationship. Ultimately, if you're good friends then you must have lots in common and thats really the important basis for a relationship, and you already say there is a mutual attraction. Just make sure you approach this honestly and openly, and explain that you don't want to rush things to avoid getting hurt. If he's genuine, he'll be fine with that. Good Luck!

Well, If your gut tells you that he wnts to use you, then you better listen to your gut. And by the way you described things, you seem more tilted towards this theory. Well , you could also be wrong. And I do wish you were wrong, but I dont think he really wants to travel the whole distence with you.
Think about it and since you have not gotten a closure.. Tell him that you have moved on. Thats what I did to my Ex.

Get a nwe BF and a new life. That one is wasting your time. how can you ever envision a future with that kind of mistrust. He dumped you for someone and now wants to impress his ex by trouting you around on a string.
You need someone who cares for you for you, not to impress some other woman..

Why do we always believe what they say. What men say and do can sometimes be two different things.
Move on and don't let yourself take any flirting serious. Just because its good to know we are attractive don't mean we have to act every time it happens. Keep it light and simple with him.

Move on. If a relationship doesn't work a first time, it probably never will. Keep him as a mate but nothing else.

I say stick with what you have. See if it is going to work before you just drop it.

Well, you are old news to his ex, since she came after you; so maybe he's trying to rekindle the old flame. Or, maybe he's just trying to get into your pants...............
