Red--AIDS awareness (also used by RADD)
Yellow--support the troops (also used by suicide prevention and spina bifida research)
Pink--breast cancer awareness (also used by birth parents support)
White--support for terrorist victims (also used by peace activists)
Some of the lesser known, but still relatively popular ribbon colors, are as follows: lavender for general cancer awareness; green for organ and tissue donation, as well as missing children, the environment and leukemia; dark/navy blue for child abuse and domestic violence prevention, free speech, arthritis and water safety (drowning) and quality.

According to the National Ribbon Council, there are only three colors of ribbons: red, blue and chicken.
As with most semi-aquatic creatures, their specific meaning is open to interpretation, though most people believe them to be semaphore signals from long-dead civilizations.
Thanks very much for asking.
