I don't know, but I totally agree.
I think it has to do w/ women being so competetive.
The thing that pisses me off the most about an adulteress husband is that woman do that to one another. Women know how hard it is to find a man that they feel like loves them.
Then jealous homewreckers go and shake their a** at the husbands just to see if she can get him. I know it doesn't always happen like that, but it happen like that way too often.
Women need to respect one another instead of being jealous.
Good question!

It depends on the environment you're in. In some places, women are very supportive of each other. In others, the reflect the hateful or competitive nature of the environment around them.

Try taking a belly dancing class and getting involved with a belly dancing troupe, perhaps in American Tribal style, which fosters cooperation and mutual support. You'll be amazed how supportive women are of each other when they are able to eliminate the hostile environment that surrounds them.

I'm all for supporting the girls - but if you're acting like a fool...forget it. Some of us gals get a little carried away with the drama.
So basically, if you think every girl is after your man, think you should be treated better just because your a girl or think that Beyonce has no talent and a big butt just because your jealous - I am not going to support you!
But if you have something positive to promote or have bettered yourself or the life of someone else - You ROCK!

PS - Beyonce has a huge butt - and she's hot :)

Women sure do support each other. They do not show it on the outside...but in heart of heart they know what the other woman is talking & going through and if situation gets too out of hand for one woman, then the other surely steps in and supports. What made you think that women do not support each other?

I know exactly what you mean and I think it has to do with the individual woman. I have come across many women in the workplace and socially that have been back-stabbers or who have been catty, but I have also had the pleasure of knowing women who are supportive and positive influences to be around.
I have noticed that the women that I have known socially that love to bad-mouth other women have mothers who do the same.

You know, I'm all for supporting us as women. But there are so many women out here in the world that have issues and they're so catty until it's real pitiful! You've got the jealous, envious, trifling, nagging, tired, the ones that make it bad for other women, the greedy for money type, the whorish and I know going on and on like this would make you think that I'm one of these women. But not hardly! It's just that I would like to group all of these types and put them in some type of seminar to learn how they could straighten up and fly right! I'm not perfect. But I'm definitely not one of these. I'm more the I'm not taking your sh!t I don't give a damn who or what you are type of woman. Well I guess we need a seminar for me too! LOL!

Girl this is a good question. I see so much hate among women especially in the work place and it just saddens me. We should never look down on a woman unless we're picking her up. I never did connect with women well, cannot be trusted at all. Most want to be your friend when you're down and out, but when you rise to the top and start making a path for yourself, look out, they make things up about you, jealousy, their own kids start liking you better than they like them ha ha sounds funny but sooo true!! some wont want to be around you if you don't look like you have a lot of money, if you don't dress like them etc... little do they know. but it's good to find out about people sooner than later. I'm better off.

I have a support system with other women and I am very glad about it. But you are right, this is still a big issue. Female competition and jealousy are probably the reason. Let's change it - it's in our power!

I try not to make those nasty comments a lot of women do to each other like "How can she wear that skirt w/ those legs?" or "She could use a hair salon." or "Doesn't she know she's too fat for that belly shirt?".
We should support each other instead of trying to disrespect each other. I correct my teen neices, too when they say something along those lines. It's not nice, we're not judges and I'm sure we haven't always looked our best!
Women unite!

That's for shure~ I really think it's about who looks better now a days. Very sad. The other day I was at a major store and this girl said out loud, wow this is really cheap as in low price referring to a item, then I responded to her just to start some sort of conversation just trying to be friendly and she looked at me as if I was crazy or weird. I felt really bad~But oh well I guess I just have to be more careful to who I try to be friendly with~
