To answer you: NO!
To answer that poor David person:
What kind of bovine end product have you been swallowing, child?
A) We "pray" to the saints and the Mother of God the same way YOU "pray" to your friends; asking their help, telling them how we're doing, seeking their assistance for other friends.
B)idol worship? Puhleeze! We no more "worship" a statue than you do. They are there for the same reason you put pictures of your family in your home; to remind you of absent loved ones.
C) We preach salvation through Christ's sacrifice on the Cross. Accept His gift, repent of your sins and try not sin again. But we also recognize that human nature is gonna let you down and you ARE gonna sin again. So you need to repent and be forgiven for them.
D) Sweetie, my church has more Bible classes than I bet yours has members! For kids, for teens, for young adults, for adults, for non-Catholics wanting to know more about the roots of our faith, for those who want to delve deeply into theology, for those who want to learn Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek and/or Latin. Good cow, boy, we study the covers off the thing! Every Mass contains three readings from Scripture, one from the Old Testament, one from the Acts or the Epistles and one from the Gospels. The homily (sermon) is based on the readings. I should know. I write them for overworked priests.
I suggest, David, that you've been grossly misinformed. One can only wonder by whom.

no. The beast would be satan himself. In the book of revelations they are to send messages to 7 churches. Some of those messages good.. some of them of warning because those churches screwed up and are probably going to burn lol.
It seems jesus is on a seek and destroy mission and the beast is the carrier of the number 666, although its been said that the number is a mistranslation as with all sorts of other things in the bible. The beast could also be the devil when he turns into a 7 headed dragon.
I am pagan... so maybe I shouldn't be the one answering this Question, but I have read the bible from front cover to back..

Satanic? Why, yes; you remember that the Mass was like the heart scene from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, right? <> Good grief, no. It's not satanic. All Catholic doctrines are compatible with Scripture. Read your Catechism as this clarifies them with Scripture. Read history. Read the writings of the early Church Fathers. Read the Didache. Worshipping as a Roman Catholic is not only OK, but it is Divinely inspired.

The Roman Catholic church is "satanic" by their own definition of Satan and Satanism. They and most other Christians identify "Lucifer" as Satan. "Lucifer" is the "king of Babylon," from Isaiah 14.
"Babylon" is a prophecied people, who are also known as the "house of Jacob," and the followers of "Immanuel." They would try to build the "tower of Babel," which is a man-made tower to God. The Catholic's "tower to God," is their belief that they will be the ones who get to "sit with God," after "Judgment Day." Of course you have to be in good standing with their church on that Day, which is the "wall" of their tower.
The "Beast" in revelations includes all of Christianity, not just the Cathoics.
They all end up being the ones that they thought they were protecting us against.
Sincerely,
Chris

Not at all.
God allows us to worship him anyway we see fit as long as it is not a cult where one person wants us to worship them.
We are all going to the same place the Other Side, no matter what you call it and no matter how you get there. God allows us to have free will to live our lives as we see fit and worship as we like. As long as we do good and believe in Him we are on the road to eternity.
My husband is Catholic and I am Protestant. We have been married almost 30 years. He is the most religious and righteous person I know. He believes in God and walks a wonderful life. I have struggled my whole life and have search my beliefs. I have not been a good person my whole life and have grown from my mistakes. I now believe 100% than God is real and my maker and that I am here to please him. How? He wants us to lead a good life for him and help others. I will see him and be with him when the time is right. I belive my husband is on a higher level than me and I only hope in eternity we will be together.
Catholic or Protestant, God sees us all as equal souls.

No.
I don't see anything satanic about the Nicene Creed, a summary of our beliefs, from 325 A.D.:
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in being with the Father. Through Him all things were made. For us and our salvation He came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit, He was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day He rose again in fulfillment of the scriptures: He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son, He is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
For a complete description of what Catholics believe (none of it satanic), see the Catechism of the Catholic Church: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/index.htm
With love in Christ.

Father Malachi Martin wrote a couple books that says there is a shadow of evil in the vatican. While most of the church might be considered innocent there is a secret society, or more correctly a secret combination inside.
But then again that can be said for just about every church in the world.

the "beast" seems to change over time; it may well have been the Roman Empire which persecuted Christians for centuries; today, a lot of Christians (not nec Catholics) regard the beast as the United Nations and one world government
i dont worry what God can take care of

YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE SAYING ????????
ROMAN CATHOLIC COULD NEVER BE SATANIC AS SATANIC BELONGS TO SATANA AND DEMONS ARE PEOPLE'S WORST ENEMY.
IN THE BEGINNING, THERE WAS A FIGHT BETWEEN RIGHT AND WRONG, BETWEEN ANGELS AND DEMONS AND BAD ANGELS WERE TRANSFORMED INTO DEMONS.
YOU SHOULD READ MORE THE BIBLE CAUSE YOU'RE CONFUSED.

Some protestants beleive it is the apostate church. I myself, being pagan, and Wiccan, beleive it to be one of many valid belief systems.
