I love red wine, mainly Mogan David, I want to try something new, any suggestions?

If MD is your jumping off point, I would sample some Riunite Lambrusco (best selling red import in the US for decades) first, and then see what else you'd like to try.

South America is a great region for reds. Chile or Argentina I really love Santa Rita which is from Chile. I like both the Merlot and Cabernet.

Just had a great red over the weekend. It's called Pinotage from a winery in South Africa (neubeneder or something). The vintage was 2003. After we finished those bottles, I had to resort to a Merlot, and it tasted like vinegar in comparison.

The Pinotage was kind of fruity and full-bodied, but not overbearing. I really liked it.

Kendall Jackson, Mondavi or Rodney Strong cabernet savignon.

Gallo of Sonoma has lovely reds for a nice price. I especially enjoy their cabernet savignon.

Robert Mondavi pinot noir is my personal favorite.
