Yeah well that kind of explains it. I'm small, quite slim(ish), pale and have medium brown hair. It's just past my shoulder blades at the moment but it's really boring and straight cut, i wear it on a bit of a side parting and i want to keep a bit of a fringe, still keeping the length can i jazz it up in any way? Sounds like a bit of an impossible task i know. But hey, any ideas would be lovely. Thanks ever so much =).

find out what your face shape is and find a style to suit your shape, i think shoulder lengh hair is good on petite women, dont go for short layers keep them longer because they can be really hard work and dont bother dying your hair i have pale skin and medium brown hair and the best hair color on me is medium brown hair.

I would suggest u have some layers put in!
Ask your hairdresser to give you INCREASE LAYERS without taking anything of the length! This will take alot of weight out reducing the bulk!
It will give your more movement aswell, and if you tie your hair up alot, your pony tail will sit alot better! Mabye add a sweeping fringe that will definetley finish your new haircut!

Well Jess, you need to try a flip of a curl one both sides, that could give you what your looking for. Maybe put a shriek on one side. all depends on your own style.Only you can know what you want and only you can do it and be happy!! good lick and try everything!!

Try an inverted bob. It's short at the nape and a little longer at the front. It will look great with bangs. Guys love the look.

personally i hate hair that is around the sholder area. i prefer the extremes short or long. so if u wanna get ur hair cut i think u should get it cut near the chin or cheek bown area. i think hair like that looks really cool( couldnt think of a word to use). ive seen a girl with hair like that and it looked beautiful. really made her look different from other people

You might not like this idea, but I beg you to at least consider it. Just get it all shaved off. I LOVE bald girls. If you don't like it you could just wear a wig. Black girls do it all the time so they can match their wigs with their clothes every day. I know that sounds really crazy, but it could work with white girls too.

i recommend u get it layered keep it thesame length but wit a bit of style and then maybe get the ends feathered to give it a roughier look depends on what you like

You should get layers and side-swept bangs since you have a small figure like me and I look great with that hairstyle.

for a more subtle change - long soft layers and get it angled in the front to frame your face
or get jagged or choppy layers for a bigger change
and i would try parting it more on the side and maybe try bangs.
