Ihave downloaded window media player 11 and when I try to install it it freezes at the point that it says it has to validate whether I have a real copy of windows xp. I dont know what to do next.

You have to be connected to the internet and then give it time to complete the online validation.

y would u install it? Windows media player already comes with any windows program. And if your not using windows, it won't work, I've tried it on Linux, but it doesn't work. Try using music match if you r using anything other than windows. Otherwise, just search over your computer files, it should already be there.
And I have never heard of windows media player 11, there's no problem with #1, y would they make 11? just sound stupid to me.

its does that. Its windows 'new protection plan'. Try to validate it or do w/e the help boxes say. I hate WMP 11, i trashed it and went back to WMP10

maybe it's because u didn't have the oldest windows media player
or maybe if u just download it again and try again

if your win os is not original copy wmp11 will not work. i recommend to download and use realplayer. it works better than wmp.
