Wow, great question. Imagine what the world would be like if everybody asked themselves this and then tried to actually follow through on it.

I find meditation with spiritual intent to be very beneficial, particularly if done on a regular basis. Here's one suggested way of getting started:

If you don't like the advice given at this site, there are many more places to find out about meditating.

Praying regularly is also wonderful, but it seems you already do that.

Perhaps most of all, try to live your beliefs, live as you think God would want you to live. Try to emulate Christ's life, if He is your spiritual role model. Good luck!!

Well, it is great that you try and read the bible but you even said yourself that you don't read it enough....(that could help) and also, how often do you pray and how do you determine what prayer is....I pray a lot but compared to some people my prayers are a lot different.....When I pray I'm pretty much just caring on a conversation with someone that doesn't necessarily talk back (at least not in the conventional way).... Also, have you given everything that you are and have to Him?? Have you truly allowed him to take things in your life that you might not necessarily want to give up?? i.e. relationships, parents, school, stress etc..!!

You're doing the right things, praying, reading the scriptures. Just continue to feed your spirit the word of God on a daily basis. Then you'll feel God talking to you and speaking to your heart about things concerning your life. And you have to put your total trust in God, especially when things feel like they may be crashing down on you. Stay in the state of prayer. Pray for the little things like, when you see a plane go by in the sky, just say something like, "God protect the people on that plane, in the name of Jesus." Or when an ambulance is rushing by you. When you're sick, before you run to the medicine cabinet, say a prayer to God, after all He is the Healer of all things. Stay in constant communication with God, and you'll see your life turn around for the better. God Bless.

Don't fall into the trap of thinking that your boyfriend will change once you are married. If this young man doesn't share convictions that are important to you I would caution you to evaluate your relationship before you make a lifetime commitment. But be assured that even now God is working in his heart to bring him closer to His Son Jesus Christ. You can share with him but do not try to nag him into being what you consider to be a good Christian. Let the Spirit take the lead. You are called to be a witness not judge and jury.

Prayer and studying scripture are great but do you involve God in your whole day? I like to think of God as a best friend. I look constantly for opportunitites to involve him in my decisions. If you pray and ask God to use you, he will. I have also found that talking to others about God will make you feel closer to him.

The bible has given us all the answers .The only thing you need to do is to pray continuously to Jehovah God to lead you in understanding each passage you read in the bible and to also give you the strength to do his will ,which you are claiming you read all the time .It is not easy because of the world we live in today .But Jehovah knows our strength .Give all your best and let him see it all .I ask my self same question and i always arrive at this same answer i have offered here.I know he sees my heart , same as yours.

Go out and share your faith with others - witness to people. This will force you into the Bible to answer questions you will not have the answer to. It will drive you deeper into the Word of God. Plus you will be obeying Mark 16:15.

Don't know how then go here to learn how to share your faith. www.wayofthemaster.com

What works for me giving God praise and worship. This is what He really wants from us.
Try fasting and prayer if you are really serious. God answers the prayers of the faithful.

Prayer is asking God. Meditation is listening to God. Perhaps a time to hear the reply is in order.
