Stay away from things like hair grease and pink oil. They are filled with petroleum and mineral oil, which coat the hair and clog follicles. It makes it appear to be moisturized but it is actually drier. You could wet you hair and then use a light oil like Jojoba oil to seal in the moisture. I've heard the Neutrogena Triple Moisture works very well also.

Hair mask are deep conditioners. I actually have a type of deep conditioners some high priced others particularly low-priced. the single that works terrific for me is through Queen Helene, for $2.50 at Sally's attractiveness supply. they have categories, and that's an extremely stable product.

Mizani.. i swear by this stuff. They have alot of GOOD products. They have this line of mousterizers and hydrators for african american hair.. Its soo good. another thing you can do (which is a home remedy) u should take olive oil and rosemary and place it in a jar, leave it there for 2 weeks.. use that oil and wet your hair with the oil (no water) wrap your hair and sleep with the oil.. in the morning wash it and use the mizani moisterizer and style it.. ITS SOO GOOD! you should go to a dominican hairstylist they have good deep conditioners also.. :)

Well what works for me is Pantene for relaxed hair. It really helps my hair out. And my hair is really thick and gets dry fast. ive been using it for a year and it has done pretty good. Good luck!
