Is that why people refuse to believe in evolution while looking at actual skulls depicting the evolution of hominids over the eons?

Using that logic, long division shouldn't exist either, as I can't find it mentioned in the bible anywhere. It does actually work, though.

But it is probably the work of the devil, right?

To those of you who don't believe because evolution can't be proven, why are the rest of us expected to believe the theories you posit as truth?

More christian double-standards.

Or, I believe the word is"hypocryte" when people expect others to do something that they themselves refuse to do.

Opps, I misspelled "hypocrite".

Don't you think the world would be a better place if people would just admit when they make mistakes, instead of rationalizing why they have been correct all along?

I am happy to disappoint you - the word evolution is not found in the Bible. However, the Bible does not state anywhere that this earth is 6000 years old - Yes, I know there are some wacko Christians who say that, but it simply is not so. The Scriptures say just the opposite: It states that not only is this earth billions upon billions of years old, but that there was an entire earth age before this one that we live in now.
When Adam and Eve came on the scene, God was refurbishing the earth to make it habitable for man in the flesh. It was absolutely NOT the first creation of the earth, far from it.
The Word tells of the earth when it still had the firmament above it that protected from elements that today we are exposed to.
It states that because of that, life could exist for great amounts of time, and that animals could be able to grow to enormous sizes; I'm sure you've heard of dinosaurs -
There is absolutely no controversy between true science and true Scripture. None.
Its just that people do not read the Bible with understanding - they would rather listen to man, who will foul you up every time.
Genesis 1:1 - "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." (theres a period after that sentence). Now, when did it say God created the earth? It didn't - only "in the beginning". There is an entire age within that statement, and Scripture talks of the previous earth age in much detail - 2peter talks of the three earth ages - the one that was, the one that is, and the one that will come next. God states that he created this earth that it should inhabited forever. The ages may change, but never the terafirma. It is eons and eons old. God declares it. So do you.
No controversy.

1) The skulls you speak of are quite questionable and many are formed from fragments with people who already had a predisposition to what they were looking for.

2) No, the Bible does not mention evolution.

3) You aren't comparing apples to apples either. Does it say anywhere in the Bible that 1 +1=2. No. Does this mean that you shouldn't add and subtract? Not at all.

See the problem with evolution is that it undermines the intelligence and perfectness of God. It says that if there was a being created and it wasn't perfect and needed modified, then that would undermine the omniscience of God.

There are some Theist who believe in evolution, but they are labeled theistic evolutionist, and they try to make science meet the bible, not the bible meet science.

You mean looking at fragments of skulls which don't exclude the possibility of being some type of ape.

If you believe in evolution, then why are there so few "missing links"? Why do we have 100X the fossil record for everything else then the alleged missing links.

You obviously believe everything you've been spoon-fed. I doubt you evidence one shred of original thought on these matters. "Uh, lots of scientists say that evolutions is true...so it must be true." Science has been wrong many times. If you look at the history of the theory of evolution it's quickly apparent that it's full of mistakes and poor postulation that is later changed as we learn it was wrong. Does that cause you any doubt? No, it doesn't because the scientists say. What about that fact that what they have said about evolution has changed many times, so much so that if you still held to evolutionary assertions made 40 years ago even evolutions' would disagree with you. Of course this doesn't bother you for you believe whatever you are told...for I doubt you believe anything about evolution that came about out of your striking mental acumen.

The Bible says that God created while evolution says that we evolved.

The science of Mirco evolution is a science (it tell how one kind of animal or plant can produce different typed of the same kind - diversification). But this does not mean that the other types of evolution are true, they are still just theories.

Did you know that the Dakota man (and his wife) where created from 1 tooth that was found!! And it turned out to be a pigs tooth!!!

The so called missing link "Lucy", was found with no hands or feet and so they made hands and feet that were more like humans than chimps on it. Lucy's head (the one that is on her now) was found about 100 feet from the body and several strata of earth below the body (that makes her head over 10,000 years older than her body). Also the joints of replicas are changed so it looks more upright than the original.

The theory completely contradicts what the bible says about how humans came about...... The bible says God formed adam out of dust.... according to the evolution theory... man evolved from another specie ( homo erectus) ..... so if a person accepted the evolution theory, they would have to reject the teachings of the bible.

Furthmore, scientists can never fully prove that this actually happened, since there a still "missing links", so I guess it will continue to remain a theory....

Evolution is not menition cause logic wasn't used when the bible was written. Not many knew about evolution 2000 years earlier as they know today.

But still, some people rather believe 2000 year old words than proven facts.

You're assuming a lot of things about a lot of people. Many call that bigotry. There are many Christians that don't have a problem with the theory of evollution. God could just as easily create that process. I think you may have a fundamental misunderstanding about what the Bible is supposed to be vs. what some Chrisitans and non-Christians alike take it to be. It's not a history of the creation of humans. It's the history of God iinteracting with humans. We're given a quick creation story, but very few details. The details aren't as important as the other points found in the account. If the Bible contained everything about everything, who could even lift it?

Actually I think the problem is that the bible suggests people and animals were created as they are, which is inconsistent with evolution. There's nothing in the bible inconsistent with long division.
It's still an extremely illogical way of looking at things, but not quite as illogical as you suggest.

if there was evolution in the bible i dont think any religious man say its not true.

the devil does not exist, also god doesnt but as far as i know heaven and hell is something that the christians created to scare people to make them follow the christian religien.

they DID prove evolution. evolution exists, believe it or not it is.
do you really think that everything in this world was created in 7 days?...
many science facts can be wierd to many UNTIL you read/learn about it, there is alot of difference after you understand what they found out AFTER research and what they PROVED.

No it's not mentioned in the Bible.

The Bible is supposed to be the word of God himself. If it is not in the Bible, then it is not true...or so they say.

Which is why it's hard to take in the fact of Dinosaurs as well. No mention of Dinosaurs (although some say there is. disagreement in the interpretation of the Bible)
