As an avid tanner, I must say....

Tanning with freshly shaved legs is by far better for your tan. Why? When you shave, you exfoliate your legs, removing dead skin cells and any other garbage you may have on your legs, which leads to a longer lasting tan. The problem is, your legs never stay as tan as the rest of your body because of frequent shaving taking layers of skin off as you do so.

So, what I suggest is shave away, girlfriend, and enjoy your tan!

I was a tanning consultant for a few years. I have always tanned when my legs were shaven, just for the fact that each time you shave you are taking off the dead top layer of skin, just think of it like a guy that has hair and then shaves his head bald.... which will tan better?
Optimize your tan by using creams and lotions that have bronzers in them, apply heavily. These lotions really work well and will keep your skin mosturized and help you to retain your tan longer.

I ALWAYS have better results with shaved legs due to exfoliation as mentioned above. I also use an olive oil and brown sugar scrub I make at home to exfoliate knees and elbows and feet, any spots that are hard to tan.

You should shave before hand because you will shave away your tan in a sense if you wait until afterwards. Done it many of times. Anyways, hope I helped and Happy New Years!!!

in step with threat your shaving cream irritates it. purchase a clean razor, and attempt useing your surely hair conditioner as your shavng cream. makes your legs relatively mushy, and could no longer worsen them as plenty.
