how do you actually use a web cam?

i have it set up with the software and everything, but how do you connect w someone? I already have an aol mail accnt, do I need to go thru a chat room, or go to yahoo? Plz help ! give me all info

yes you have to go to yahoo/aol..
there you have to integrate your web cam

before that check whether you can open ur cam or not

you can check it this way
-->start menu
-->control panel
-->scanners & cameras

now u need to have some chat program such as yahoo messenger or msn or skype or aim or somthing like that ...
and then u invite the person to a video conversation
