ok well i live in CT. courtney lives in wisconsin she was my x gf who is now dating my best friend oliver. I treated courtney so good. she is like madly in love with me because of it too but oliver and her i hate to see them talking and stuff. distance is hard and stuff but i met this girl named bailey she is visting her dad in montana and i really like her. weve been friends for a awhile and i want to take the relationship a bit further. i think she likes me to but when i asked her out on xmas she said that she wanted to wait till she got back in CT. Courtney wants me back real bad and is willing to dump olliver in a second for it. i want bailey though she is closer and shes overall amazing. but i love courtney and i want to be happy with someone that loves me.. sometimes i think that if bailey liked me she woulda jumped to the offer on xmas.. what do i do? call bailey? she doesnt respond to any of my emails or talk to me wen she gets on aim.. what do i do?

sounds like you have two duds...i am being serious..no matter how willing your ex is to dump your bestfriend for you..you shouldnt be with her..the rule is no bestfriend should date your girl ex or not! and your girlfriend should not go after your best friend ...just sounds like a mingled crappy situation in which you shouldnt waste your time...i know its hard because you love her...but you will find a more genuine relationship and feelings elswhere in time!...and about the bailey girl..she seems like a good choice..she just seems like she wants to take it slow and there is nothing wrong with that...try again asking her out! and go at her pace...maybe somethingh really good will come out of it with patience.... good luck!!! (please dont let your ex feel she has you at any ppoint and time when she wants you,....you will become her puppet! ...seriously think about it!)

Well if bailey likes you maybe shes just shy. i think it would be a lot easier to go with bailey seeing as shes so much closer. Tell courtney that the distance is too hard and even though you really do love her you just can't be together. if bailey doesn't work out then you might be able to try courtney again..but thats depends on how shes feeling after you tell her you can'te together.

maybe bailey doesn't like you that way and she just wants to be friends. don't push her too hard. give her awhile and then talk to her again about going out. if she says no, then find someone new. i'm not sure about courtney. the distance is really hard to get over. i know personally. i couldn't overcome it, so i had to let the guy that i liked go. maybe you should try it with courtney and if it's too hard, then tell her that you have to let her go... of course, true love knows no distance.

can't you see that Courtney isn't the right one for you. she is willing to hurt her current boyfriend and you best friend just to date you. you guys already broke up for a reason so why do you think it would be so much better the second time around. go for bailey. maybe she just wasn't ready at the time. things like that are always overwhelming.

this is all up to you and how you feel. you gotta follow your heart, but use your head. you could always wait for bailey to make a decision, and then base it on what you want to do. i say this only because 1, she lives closer, 2, i dont like how your best friend went after your g/f, and who says he wont do it again? also, if you dont trust her, the relationship work. you also dont see courtney that much (im assuming) which is a relationship killer. but anyways, use your best judgement. good luck
