I go to my boyfriends home almost every night for dinner and his mother cooks. She cooks with whole milk and lots of other fattening things. How can I still eat it without the fear of gaining weight? Should I get smaller portions and risk just being hungry later?

Having dinner with foods that are higher in fat won't really hurt you--it's if you have a habit of eating higher calories ALL day. If you exercise (even if it's on a treadmill for 20 minutes a day) you would be amazed at what you can eat and not gain the weight--I didn't believe it at first, but after I started to exercise (and not overdo it) I could eat more, or eat a few meals that were higher in fat and still keep my figure. Good luck, and don't punish yourself to the point where you are hungry later. :)

smaller portions girl. fill up on fruits and veggies throughout the day. When you get to boyfriends house just have a little. Drink plenty of water too.

Take smaller portions of the fattening stuff, and extra portions of any veggies. maybe ask her if she would mind if you brought a salad to serve with dinner (if she doesn't already serve one).

yeah cut down on the fattening junk and that will help out alot more, you could even let your man know about it and then he can probably work something out with his mom on her cooking.
