No, AIDS is not even close yet. The people murdered in the name of "GOD" numbered more than all the major wars on this planet combined. There were 9 crusades, the conflicts in the middle east which have raged for centuries, conflicts between the protestants and catholics in Ireland, and don't forget the atrocities of the Salem Witch "Trials". Do some research. Start with the crusades and a man named Cardinal Regilou. The spelling on that is wrong I'm sure but he was the french bishop who hired spanish mercenaries to "convert" non-believers by any means necesarry. This ended up in death.

According to Jerry Falwell, AIDS IS god's way of killing naughty people! Religion has certainly been the excuse used to kill the most people in the world over the centuries. It is nothing more than a tool of power and social control in order to serve a few elite who are wealthy on the backs of humanity.

I think you'd have an extremely hard time getting accurate numbers for either, and 'killed in the name of God' is a little difficult to define. But probably.

Definitely. People dying because of God's name being thrown around has been happening long before AIDS ever existed.

There are also people killed by AIDS in the name of God because the Catholic church prohibits the use of condoms.

O mankind! there indeed has come to you an Exhortation from your Lord and a healing for whatever disease there is in the hearts, and a guidance and a mercy to the believers.
