Well I know wat you mean.
My mouth loves nuts of allsorts, but my digestive system can get bunged up.
Oh I suppose that as our ancestors were "hunter- gatherers"
We ate a lot of nuts.
Now we don't, so the system has become somewhat intollerant.
Evolution.
I sympathise with the situation.
I suppose that if we all started eating more nuts, not just at Chistmas, all will be well.
As long as they come with a goodly lump of meat.
It is only natural, after all!

Even though you are chewing them alot, the density (hardness) does not change.
