What rate in the Navy would see the most combat in a real war? (Real meaning, not like Iraq, but like a War with Iran or...you could say WWI and WWII. Where the enemy actually has a decent Navy)

Machinist Mate or Electronics Technician.

Every single ship has an Engineering Department. And every ship has electronics.

Well the Navy really doesnt see War. Navy is not combat you are on a Ship so most likely you wont go to war.

That why the army, marines and Air force dont really like the Navy they call us names but Us Navy is much better it teaches you more when you retire you will get better Jobs . The Navy is for Smart people.

Bootcamp can be hard tho if you dont know how to swim you need to LEARN..

Gunners mates guns or missiles. The next best would be Fire Controlman. these rates are listed as GMG or GMM and FC these are the ones that do the shooting.

What do you mean by combat? Shooting guns, firing missiles, defending the ship, or seeing actual ground combat?
