My boyfriend speaks a different language but speaks mine, which is english. he is always speaking his language with friends etc. I feel left out and disrespected. it also leaves me feeling like I am being cheated on. trust is a hard issue with me and this makes it worse. it has been almost a year and 5 months and nothing has changed.. I just don't know?

I am stationed in Africa where everyone speaks Portuguese. People like to speak there own language because it is there mother language. I have picked up on Portuguese and when I get around my friends l like to speak english and my Portuguese friends feel left out. I try not to do that but I like speaking my mother langauge or first language the best. The best thing I can tell you is try to learn his language so you will know. Plus it never hurts to know a different language.
