Why wasn't this criminal deported LONG ago...this was NOT his first arrest!
When will our voices be heard while we fight to recover our country from illegal criminals?

What it will take is for someone of "prominence" to be killed by an illegal drunk driver, then maybe, just maybe, the liberal elite will sit up and take notice. Then, maybe, they will come to the realization that illegal immigration can affect them. Otherwise they are perfectly content to sit upon their lofty thrones, insulated from reality,and look down upon us common folks as unfeeling and uncaring. They will be quick to point out that American citizens also drink and drive. The facts and figures have been in for a long time. There is NOTHING positive that comes from illegal immigration. It is costing American citizens billions of dollars and their very lives yet our elected representatives do nothing.
So what do we do? Try printing these articles and sending them to the likes of Kennedy, Feinstein, and Pelosi. Let's thank them for allowing this to continue unabated because Dianne Feinstein knows an illegal alien that came here and did well. Somehow that makes it all worth it don't you think?

Hmmm i mustn't have read the same article your speaking of just the one you posted. It didn't say he was an illegal immigrant nor did it say he was arrested before on DUI. If this is a family member or friend that was killed I'm so sorry for your loss. but unfortunately that happens all over the country. drunk driving laws are not the strongest they think if they take away the license of a DD they wont drive but this is not the case. I hope he does get charged. and if u have another link stating about his illegal status please post i would like to read about it. because it seems right now just because he has a Hispanic name he is illegal in your eyes.

My cousin was killed by a drunk American driver. She is just as dead, and he never did a days jail time. She wasn't even in a car, he just lost control of his and hit her. Its the drunk part we need to care about, not just his immigration status. We have for too long had an attitude that we can get in a car and make it home, that we haven't had too much to drink, and its some kind of sissy to say we can't drive ourselves. So we die and take other innocents with us. Lets change that first, before we worry about a drunk driver just because hes illegal.
And I'm not in any way pro- illegal, I'm just very anti-drinking and driving.

No, I hadn't seen your article, but my cousin and her husband were killed by an illegal immigrant and he somehow got out of the hospital away from the police and is now roaming around somewhere in the world a free man. However, I do not hold a "bad attitude" toward all illegal immigrants. People are people and we mess up all the time. To feel any differently would be like hating all white people or all black people (or any other race/nationality) because of one or two bad people in those cases.

Thanks for posting and I agree that he should have been deported a long time ago.
But you know illegals and illegal supporters will just say that Americans drive drunk too. Problem with that argument is that us Americans are not illegally in this country.

What "justagrandma" FAILS to realize, is that these deaths committed by an ILLEGAL,should NEVER have happened in this country!!! And would never have happened,if the illegal had not been HERE!!!! These were PREVENTABLE deaths!! or, they would have been prevented, had our borders been SEALED properly!!!!
Yes, we realize that American citizens get dui's and kill other Americans!!! And, although it is just as tragic, if the ILLEGAL not sneaked into this country,these family members would still be alive!!!

I wasn't aware of this particular news article, but am aware of what a problem illegals pose to our country. My elderly friend was hit by one of these criminals. He had no proof of insurance, and said that he forgot his license at home. They write him a ticket, tell him to show up for court. Well, he skipped his court date, and it's all on my friend to pay for her medical, and her car repairs. The police officer knew he was illegal, but yet let him go, and the officer had to of known this illegal criminal was going to disappear into the crowd of mexicans already over here. It's a crying shame!

He should have been deported after his first arrest - I agree. Bad enough that he is here illegally. We don't need illegals with multiple arrests running amok. One strike and you are out if you are here illegally.
