I met a girl when I received a message on my myspace account saying it seemed like I was everything she was looking for in a man based on my profile. A few days later we exchanged numbers and met at a park. It was like love at first sight. She was as beautiful outside as she had proved to be inside. I found myself missing her as we turned opposite ways out of the parking lot and the next day seemed too far away to see her again. We seen eachother almost everyday for about 2 weeks and then we went to a party together. It was that night dancing under the stars that I knew and I told her I loved her. It has been 5 months now and the wedding is planned for 5-31-2008 . What do you think will it last?

Who decides if and how long it lasts???
You are happy, comfortable and ready. You make it last.
At least from everything you wrote it sounds good. Unless you have some other kind of doubt you did not write about.
Love, relations ships, marriage, there is never a guarantee. You make it work day to day.

Love is a strange thing.. You could truly be in love or be caught up in the moment.

I don't want to put doubt in ur mind but I knew a girl who's fallen head over heals with her bfs in short periods of time and she ended up realising she didn't want to get married when it was near the wedding date.. She's done it 3 times to different guys.

if you genuinely feel that this girl is your life partner then she's the one. Once you marry, just work on making sure everything is right.

Good luck to you guys.

Absolutely! If I have larned nothing else from life, its to trust my instincts. Having been single for years myself, I was always afraid to get caught up in the "infatuation" phase of the relationship. Because of that, I may have missed "the one". First impressions are usually right and if the short time together is used to learn all you can about each other, you've learned enough to know how it will pan out. Quit doubting the relationship and start enjoying it!!

There is no rule book or answers to love ever lasting... it sounds like that you guys are going into it eyes wide open... the best advice I can give is to always be yourself... never be what you think they want you to be... just to get into a relationship with them... because as time goes by the real person always comes to the surface and that when things get rotten... Be yourself, that way there is no surprises... hope this helps and Good Luck!!

Nobody can tell you whether it will last. I know people together for 20 years and now it's over. Also know people who moved faster than that and have been happy for as long as I can remember. As long as you are both feeling the same way, then I say best of luck and CONGRATULATIONS!!
