Jehovah's Witnesses do no longer celebrate New Years because of the fact the celebrations originate with worship of pagan gods. as nicely, new years is generally linked with heavy eating, some thing else that Jehovah's Witnesses do no longer take section in. As to your acquaintances, it relatively is obtainable that they simply had acquaintances over considering the fact that human beings generally have wreck day from artwork at New Years. in spite of the undeniable fact that, i'm no longer able to speak for them, and all and sundry might desire to respond to for their very own movements.

I would love to go to Edinburgh for New Years Eve. I stayed there earlier this year and was really taken with the beautiful city. It has everything you need, culture, history, romance and a great night life! I can't be there this new year but hopefully next year I can.
