desk and nothing clutter. any ideas what to put "on top" of a teenage desk top?

I'm assuming she is a preteen. The thing that is really cool for the teens I know is simple bold bright colors. Take her to office max. They have a lot of great organizers in really fun colors.Such as in and out trays, pencil holders, calculators and calanders. Just make sure it's functional for her. Give her plenty of places to keep things and you wont have to worry about the clutter!!

My desk is always cluttered. That's a part of growing up, you know, clutter resistance.

Put pictures under a glass top. That looks nice. Anything to make it her own. If she likes butterflies, make that the theme. Not little girlish, but HER. Have fun with it!
