I get this all the time!
I stand up to quickly and my vision begins to fade out until I can't see anymore, my ears ring, my head pounds, my fingers begin to tingle, and I start to sway (almost like I'm losing balance)

I assume it's just a head rush but is what I'm getting really severe or completely normal?

Other question:

Why does our vision fade out?

No one seems to be able to answer this, and I want a good answer.
My guess is it has something to do with the retina and the optic nerve but I want a good answer!

Sometimes blood pressure drops significantly when you get up from sitting. This is known as orthostatic hypotension; gravity reduces the rate of blood return from the body veins below the heart back to the heart. When people are healthy, they quickly constrict the veins below the heart and increase their heart rate to minimize and compensate for the gravity effect. The system usually requires a few seconds to fully adjust and if the compensations are too slow or inadequate, you will suffer reduced blood flow to the brain, dizziness and potential blackout.

Low blood sugar, or low blood pressure. Can't remember which one. It effects balance, and vision, which in turn can make you stumble, tingle, and get headaches. If it ever lasts for more than a minute, make sure you mention it to your doctor. :)

Nothing to do with retina or optic nerve. It has to do with your blood. Its normal once in a great while, but if its frequent, have your blood checked. You may be defficent in an area...

There are several things that could be the culprit. a Dr is needed for all of them. I have Mineres disease and have similar symptoms. It is controlled with daily medication..see an ENT as soon as you can.
