This is the best trick ever I learn form my best friend...add a can of Cream of Mushroom and a dash or 2 or 3 of Garlic Powder, this keeps the dip creamy and taste a WHOLE lot better!!! You will love it!

You can make it a little thinner than usual (maybe a little milk added to the mix). Also, be sure to heat the bowl before putting the dip in. The cold bowl will cool-down the dip quickly - causing it to firm-up faster than you'd like.

Try adding part of a jar of Alfredo Four Cheese Sauce, located with the pasta sauce in your grocery store. Works wonders, tastes delightful!

Invest in a mini crock pot and you won't have any worries about it getting too thick ever again......just make it your usual way and then add it to the crock pot (1 quart size or smaller) . I have 2 myself for such things as hot cheese dips and sweet and sour mini meatballs......and keeps things piping hot for hours.....without scorching or drying out......

Christopher you can get them online at target.com (they don't
sell the little ones in the Target stores....)

Happy Holidays~~

1/2 cup of milk when you're melting the cheese. Works for us.

You need to add a liquid to it. I agree with the answer above, milk would probably be best.
