Sara has a boyfriend that she has been with for about 3 months or so and she calls me and asked me what should she say to her boyfriend for not buying her son a x-mas gift i told her she should just let it go and not say anything unless it happens again but she feels butt hurt and she wants to bring it up to him what do you guys think???

She should say nothing. If they have only been together three months, the boyfriend is probably not--or at least shouldn't be--really involved with her son. If he is, she is jumping the gun by expecting him to play daddy to her child.

Must say that it sounds like the guy is a d**k. And would recommend someone who accepts the fact that she is a mother and to be part of her life is also to be part of the son's.

have her talk to him and ask him why he gave her a present and not her son. i don't think that's fair that the kid didn't get anything from him. he probably feels rejected...
