I asked earlier how to hit on an older woman... What I meant was I am attracted to older women. Do older women even look for younger men? I heard by the time women are in there late 30's there more interested in someone more settled.

I'm a cougar. 48 and we are not looking for younger men to make us feel younger but for the energy they might bring to a short term relationship. I don't think many of us think of them in terms of marriage, but they are fun, they do tend to worship us at times.

And if you want to hit on us (or at least on me) I suggest you be yourself. Do be up on current events, have some good books under your belt, and realize some important differences about us and our younger counterparts. We do not want your life. We already have one of our own. We do not need your money but we don't readily let go of ours either so don't expect us to pay for everything (tho we often go halves). We are quite confident, we know what we want, where we are going as well as where we have been and expect the same from you. We aren't taking you to raise.

So as long as you can be adult we will give you the time of your young life. If you meet me in a bar, do ask me to dance, do buy me a drink. Just don't give me a smart a$$ one liner. I've heard them all and they bore me. I'm too old for that.

I am 35.. and yes, I would like a MAN. Like someone who has a steady job and doesn't live with thier mom.. Not because I am a goldigger. Its because i have a steady job and I don't live with my mom. Not being able to hang out at your house after a date is pretty akward to someone who graduated from high school in the 80s.. LOL Doesn't matter if older or younger, but the guy has to be mature and responsible. Most people think that means boring, but I am probably the wildest girl you would ever meet and I still manage to be a responsible adult. So, young man, if you are interested, be a gentleman and make sure your life is in order. Older women will fall at your feet if you do.

I love older women because they have respect for life and what is in it.Also the childhood games are not played with older women as in younger women.I believe some older women do look for younger men. Really comes down to how you and the older woman feel about each other

It depends on how much older you want the women to be :-)

Dating a much younger guy (ten years or more) is sometimes tricky as people automatically assume the guy is a son/son-in-law/co-worker or the like. Also you have a lot of references that he hasn't got, so sometimes conversations can be a challenge. The sex, however, can be fantastic LOL

Younger guys are fun, but usually one has more in common with guys one's own age.

I'm 33 and my guy is 27. The thing is, I would fell in love with him even if he is 10 years younger than me, or 10 years older than me. Age doesn't matter. What matters is, WHO YOU ARE. Good luck!

Wow. That is great. You are right. Older women approach with reserve. But that doesn't mean options are out . High five to you. Happy New Year!

when I was 19 or so, I was approached by a woman of 35. We had some really great times and I learned alot of what a woman wants and when...I owe her a debt of gratitude that I can never pay back!

So, yes!

Well, you don't know what she's wants, but one thing about women that age . . they know what they want.

So come straight out. She will respect that. Get her alone and just tell her what you feel (without being dramatic) and ask her out. They're intelligent and most are willing to explore new ideas. Don't talk about a "future" yet. It's just for fun and "getting to know" each other.

Some well-established women are tired of old mean crusty men and just want to have fun with a fresh young thing!
