I told a girl that I liked her avatar picture thing. It was of a dog that looked exactly like mine. Why is that wrong? It's a dog! Am I the only one who thinks that is stupid?

The Yahoo thought police have turned yahoo answers over to the trolls.
It's a sad parody of the old Yahoo answers

I asked the same question a while back. I think it's up to one, maybe two, people to flag your answer as inappropriate. Then Yahoo Answers doesn't have the manpower to determine when it is or isn't appropriate, so they remove your post and send a letter.
I believe that if you get too many of them, your ID gets removed, but you'd have to be fairly obnoxious before that happens!

Let's just say who ever this person was was in a bad mood and didn't care about your positive answer. I know you said that i am sorry that i can't help you. But i like ur avatar....i mean that is nothing bad!!! well i hope everything works out!

I also got a letter from Yahoo about my perfectly reasonable question.
Perhaps they haven't got any Christmas thank yous to send so are writing to anyone willy nilly.

Maybe someone also accidentally clicked on the flag icon (flagging your answer thus telling Yahoo it was innapropriate)!
