If i have lied to you about my family and my childhood life for almost 4yrs in our relationship would you ever forgive and continue to be sweet and love me same as before?

What if I lied to you too about my age and told you after almost 4yrs that I am older than you 5yrs? Would you think I decieved you? Would it be easy for you to understand me and why I lied? I lied for a reason...

Actually, (and please note that I don't speak for most people), I would find it amusingly cute.

Any man that does not understand that women may bend the truth about their age probably isn't ready for a relationship with a woman, anyway. That's not to say that the man you're referring to isn't ready, but I would be astounded if, after 4 years, he didn't know at least that much about your gender.

Regarding the events of childhood... I suppose that would depend on what they were and, of course, why you thought the previous story you told made you feel more comfortable.

I found out everything I never wanted to know about my spouse through family get-togethers. Thanksgiving and Christmas and birthday parties can be very informative! :-)

After I stopped laughing I thought I had to answer. If you are that much of a liar, and that able and competent at it, then don't expect any sympathy from your man. I have one rule for my friends as well as partner - no lies. I have a zero tolerance policy on this. If you lie, you are gone. NO questions asked. I think lying is the most disgusting thing you can do to someone. You said you lied for a reason - there is no reason. It doesn't matter if you were a crack using prostitute for ten years, tell the truth and rely on the integrity of the other person to either accept you or not- if not, move on. Good Luck

No I couldn't forgive you for lying for 4yrs. All that shows is that you never really cared about the relationship and gets them thinking about what else your hiding and lying about. Nobody could forgive you for lying that long.

i could get over these smaller lies, but I would also be thinking about what else you could have lied about.

No. I'd wonder what else you lied about.

No, you should never lie about so much stuff. They wouldn't know what was the truth and what wasn't.
