We want to take a TV to Nigeria which uses the PAL system but as far as I know has no plans for going digital. It may happen that we accidentally take a digital with us (or more likely the model we like is digital) Would a digital model work? Is there any way of making it work if it doesn't?
Thanks
Rayzo

Been there, Done that and the answer is most certainly yes. Picture quality would be a insult to digital TVs every where. Its the same theory as can you put a analog casette onto a CD. The answer is Yes but quality suffers.

No it will not work, this has nothing to do with the frequency the picture is sent on, but what signal is transmitted. So wether your tv is PAL or NTSC, if it is a digital TV it has been built to receive a digital signal and not analogue.

yes, in the spec at back of manual.. look for UHF bandwith.. and if listed, then yes... and you will need to change the tuning settings, via the menu
