Are you competitive in every thing you do?

This is some thing i cannot help being at times.... but are men more competitive than women?....or are we all just as bad as each other?

I think that men compete in different things than us women do. But I am also very competitive but I am not a sore loser if I am not the best. As long as i give it my all (which Ialmost always do) then I am ok with seeing someone else get their moment of triumph because to beat me, damn, they must be good and deserve props! LOL Seriously though, Life in general has become very competitive. Life is a sport. Play it well!

Some people are more competitive than others. Do you have older siblings? I tend to go with the notion that some younger kids try to emulate the older ones. A parent that doesn't acknowledge a child's accomplishments can cause that child to be more competitive. Some people are motivated to succeed to get parents or older siblings approval. So it could be just how someone is brought up.

There are type A competitors and type B. Type A is win at all costs, type B is less aggressive. I am competitive but to a point. I won't diss anyone else competing unless they try to diss me first. I am more like a type B.

I think everyone has their certain areas that they believe are their stongest. I also think that men are more competitive in the physical activities.. I think women are more likley to compete in the ability of the mind.. If that makes sense. I am a very competitive person myself.. I love a good challenge, whether it is physical or mental I am all in! But I am more into the mental competitions.. The whole "Who knows Sarah Better?" And "My boyfriend did this what is your advice?" Those sort of things..

Too much of anything is not good for us. I used to be and maybe still am competitive with myself. I used to not think anything wrong with it until I see that it makes people around me feel uncomfortable with me.

Like –like now, I love this Yahoo answers thing very much. I never know it even here for me. I used to go to the chat room for help with my homework. Beside I didn’t get the answer for anything, I ended up hating it. I like to do my homework and study at night, so no one here for me to ask, and I asked too many questions in class already. Like-right now I try to competitive with myself by determine to get to level 3, before next semester starts. I want to be able to use all my points to asking everyone when I would need a help. Especially about computer. I love the fact that most of the answers were very good. Some was funny like heck. I die laughing by myself here at my computer.

I think it would depend on what are you try to competitive with. If you determine to do better and be successful to compete what you want to do, and not bordering anyone else, I think that is ok to do. I don’t think men and women are that much different. I think it in the person. I like myself doing it because I achieved many of my goal to what I wanted to do this way. I don’t think men and women are bad for each other because God is not going make any junks and together. I have more guy friends help me with my classes than girl. I ended up help all of them more than they help me. I hope you are doing well of what you wanted do.

In my university days, my greatest competitor was a guy. And I can't help but compete with him in almost anything and everything (not just studies)...Anw, as a female, I guess if you're too competitive, people tend to feel intimidated by you. But again, lets just be ourselves and do what we like doing. ;>
