If I put a home perm in a week ago and it's already straight, can I go ahead and put in another or do I have to wait 3 months?
It was a gentle for color treated hair.

You should wait even a little longer than 3 months. For your hairs health, it's better to perm it at the most 2 times a year. Plus if you do it too soon, your hair can get more fried and it could possibly fall out.

Since you did it at home I'm assuming you didn't trim it after it was permed. This is necissary to do because no matter which perm you use, it fries the ends, if you trim them it'll look better and a little more natural. Also...you're supposed to wait at least 48 hours after perming before you can wash your hair again, to let the chemicals set in. If you don't then you can risk losing your curls or make your hair even more fried looking.

I think you need to call your local salon for that one, if it already went straight again, I dont think you can do it again for a period of time becasue the chemicals will seriously damage your hair

no! you're just asking for all of your hair to fall out! you should wait at least 6 weeks between chemical processing on your hair.
