You can buy green tea leaves in loose form or they sell them in tea bags. Green tea isn't anything that you make yourself, it's just like any other kind of tea. You can tie 6 bags together and simmer it for about 5 mins on the stove in some water and make a gallon of green tea and sweeten it with some honey or sugar. Green tea has a lot of health benefits...just don't go overboard with the sugar and ruin it

Green tea and black tea are the same plant, but black tea is fermented and processed then dried, while green tea is just dried.
Medicinal benefits have been described for over 1000 years. The Kissa Yojoki, or Book of Tea, written by Zen priest Eisai in 1191, describes how drinking green tea can have a positive effect on the five vital organs, especially the heart.
HOW MUCH TO USE
Gyokuro and Sencha:
Use 1 teaspoon of tea for every 8-12 ounces of water.
Only brew the amount of tea you will consume immediately. If you brew 20 ounces of green tea and pour a 10 ounce cup, come back 20 minutes later and pour a second cup, the second cup will be bitter. This is why small and midsize teapots are used.
A Japanese teapot is recommended for practical and aesthetic purposes.

Green tea is a variety of tea that has strong anti-oxidants that help ward off types of cancers with many other health benefits. It is lower in caffeine than coffee or other caffinated beverages and tastes great hot or cold.
It is easy to prepare if you buy the bagged green tea which may have other flavorings to enhance the tea. Heat the water in the kettle until boiling. Place two or three bags into your tea pot and add the boiling water. Allow to set or steep for several minutes. Serve hot with honey or pour over ice for a cold tea beverage. However, traditionally, green tea is enjoyed hot.

It comes from the same plant as reg. tea but is processed differently. You purchase it as green tea, and steep it the same way as regular tea.
Boil water, (not a full boil but just at)
pour water into cup
put tea bag in and cover with saucer
let steep for 3-5 min
add honey and lemon to taste if so desired
sit back, relax and enjoy.

"What is green tea?
What exactly is the difference between green tea, and the comfortable black tea you are used to? Well, it all comes from the same plant (Camellia sinensis), but the difference is in the processing. Green tea is dried, but not fermented. The shorter processing gives green tea a lighter flavour than black tea."
Prepare green tea similarly to "regular" tea: steep in near-boiling water for a few mins. Generally, green tea is steeped for less time than black or oolong teas.

Green tea is this nasty stuff that looks like pee and tastes like crap. It is good for you though. You prepare it just like regular tea. Boil some water, put it in a mug, place your tea bag in the hot water and let it steep.
