Well, we are online couples for nearly 2 years now, we're going to meet for the first time in our lives in a 10 days. I am going to meet her at the airport with her mom, I have so many plans to go meet her for the first time, but I dont know what would be the best, could anyone give me some nice romantic sweet ways to welcome her n tell her, "its me, your love"
may be withsome flowers? or some gifts? just plain hugs? um.. we are super close, n we share a good understanding. so could any one suggest any ideas?

Ok...now I am not going to be my usual hateful self...BUT I have to ask you...why would you get engaged with someone you've never met? She's meeting you with her mother? How old are you? How old is she!?! You need to elaborate on this a little bit. How much money are you looking to spend? Cuz there is a plethera of things that you could do on a simple budget or a more extravagent one! Start off by renting a limo. Have the driver stand there with a sign(with her name) and a single red rose. The driver will take her to the limo where another red rose would be snuggled in the car handle. She gets inside the limo and there will be the other 10 roses in the car. Have a bottle of champagne for her and her mother to sip on while they anxiously await to meet you. Have the driver take them to a very nice and quaint restaurant. They walk into the restaurant and there you will be in a nice suit holding another red rose. *sigh* that would be an AWESOME way to meet her for the first time!

I know what you're going through...i'm down that road myself...i find myself every day wondering if this man is the one for me but you know what if you really love her then nothing can stop you from being with the woman you love...I'd try a rose with a hug and a kiss...I mean it'll be the first time meeting so make a good impression....Best of luck and keep it calm and casual...Just some advice!

WERID... that you haven't met her yet. but anyway do something cute llike take the mother a thank you card as i n a way for saying thank you for having her and some roses and the "fiance" take her,her wedding ring, roses and chocolates. then later you could fix a romantic candle light dinner and really get to know each as people. I just got one question how did you propose and you two were online dating? did you send her a e-card with a bear on one knee holding a ring and the car flashing marry me.. LOL.

So you're engaged to someone you've never met in real life? Okaaaayyy...
Spend some time preparing yourself for the possibility of a major letdown. I don't want to sound pessimistic here, but people are rarely EVER the same online as they are in real life. Be sure that you spend LOTS of time together in real life and make sure that you can stand each other before jumping into such a huge commitment.

You should take flowers for the mother and a gift for the "fiance". You should have met before deciding if you want to marry her or not. People are different on the phone and the computer. I guess you know what you are doing. Good luck and GOD bless.

barf, your fiance? you havent met yet?
how can you be "super close' it has all been what you imagined it to be... and I say show up with flowers, start getting to know each other as real people, drop the fantasy, dont use the word love, and think of you being pen pals up until the time you actually meet.

A bookstore with a coffee shop is great. There are others around but you don't reveal who you are just yet. Let him search. Or her. Note where he or she is. Note the titles and books they peruse. Then when he or she is ready to leave meet him or her. The element of surprise. Awesome!

Send your computer to meet her at the airport. It's been doing all the work for you up to this point, why stop now?
