I'd drink that non-alcoholic sparkling wine. (Martinelli's??) It's still festive. And if anyone gives you any crap, look them straight in the eye and say "It's because I'm YOUR designated driver." Otherwise just join in the festivities and have fun!

Well I'm just getting over the flu so I may be right there with you on that night, but as long as I have something cold in my hand I never feel left out.
You can simulate champagne somewhat with sparkling juices, but unless you're worried about your party image any drink you enjoy will do just fine. Me? I'm likely to be drinking a nice green tea...

They have sparkling juice. I was pregnant on New Year's Eve 1999, 2002 and 2004, and that was what I had to drink. I still felt kind of left out, but it made me feel a little better to have something kinda 'fancy'.

I always drink sparkling grape juice, mainly because I hate the taste of alcohol. Everyone always assumes it's champagne, and it makes me feel included in everything.
Of course, the days of staying up until midnight have passed as well!

Welch's makes a sparkling grape juice that is in a bottle similar to a champagne bottle. I drink that with my daughter on New Year's eve.

I like diet 7-Up or any diet lemon/lime soda mixed with a little bit of your favorite fruit juice. My favorite juice is orange. It tastes good and it looks festive. Put it in a champagne flute and enjoy!

Drink whatever non-alcoholic drink you like!
Join in the fun with your friends and giggle behind their backs at the stupid things they say when drunk.
Have fun!

I, like you, have no need for alcohol, nor do I wish to follow the rest of the sheep and get drunk.

Tonic with lime. It's lo-cal, a little bitter so you won't guzzle, and the bitter tonic is good for your liver. Or, Perrier with lime.
