Friendly is just that. Flirting is acting alittle more "silly". Over-lauging at jokes, alot of "touching" when not necessary. Like during conversations, the person reaches over and lightly touches the other persons arm. Lots of eye contact, and never leaving the persons' side. And most of all body language. (Speaks volumes!)

It is so not hard to know the difference. When someone is flriting, they have an agenda...they want something from their efforts. Just being friendly is just that. Just look in the "flirter's" eyes, you'll see the difference. If you can't, you need to stay away from guys until you learn.

Some ppl are just naturally friendly and don't realise they are flirting. It depends on how sexual they appear to become I guess.
If you feel like someone's flirting and feel inclined to ask them out for a date just do it

Depends on the person, but I'd say that flirting has more in the way of sexual overtones, more eye contact and touching. Body language would also vary.
